What are the best cake decorating tools I can buy?

How do you move a cake from a turntable to a stand?

You can use the bottom of cake pans to measure the diameters and use an pen or box cutter to cut the circles. Then wrap it in parchment to make sure the cake won’t stick. You can do this with any shape, so if you make a rectangular Napoleon or a heart shaped cake, it’s all possible.

You can also try a cake slice or stainless steel pizza lift.

Before placing the cake on the turntable to decorate, place a sheet of baking paper on the turntable, make sure you leave a few centimeters overhang, this will help lift the cake after decorating, use the paper to slide cake onto the stand, tidy the outer edges. You can then either trim the paper edge's to the outside of the stand or by leaving about 1 cm around the edge of the cake or try to slide the paper from under the cake.
